The Tour
Only a short 45 minute catamaran transfer away, Green Island is a beautiful 6000 year old coral cay and is the gateway to the adventure playground of the Great Barrier Reef – one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Revel in an array of activities or relax and let you day unfold. Stroll through magical rainforest, laze on the white coral sands, swim, dive or snorkel amongst an amazing array of tropical fish and coral gardens, or enjoy the well-appointed day visitor facilities.
This tour package includes choice of departure times from Cairns on a daily basis, as well as a choice of Glass Bottom Boat Coral Reef Viewing Tour or Snorkelling Equipment from the Dive Shop. You can upgrade your package to include both activities at a cost of $10.00 per person. You will also be able to purchase a variety of extra activities such as, entry to Marineland Melanesia’s Aquarium and Croc Show, the Underwater Observatory at the of the jetty or try a boat snorkeling tour with the crew at the Dive Shop. Throughout the course of the day, you will have access to Green Island Resort’s stunning facilities including huge saltwater swimming pool and cocktail bar! Lunch is served at The Canopy Grill, and with the Great Deals Package you get a plated lunch from the buffet including fare such as Steak, Chicken, Fish and salad selections as well as tropical fruit platters, fresh baked bread rolls and tea and coffee to round the meal off!
